Vitamin B Profile Blood Test
A focused blood test assessing selected B vitamins involved in energy metabolism, nerve function and red blood cell production. It may help investigate suspected deficiencies where you have persistent tiredness, a restricted diet or a condition affecting nutrient absorption. Please book following clinical advice so we can confirm that this panel is appropriate for your symptoms and needs.

What does it check?
- Vitamin B1 (thiamine): supports nerve function and helps release energy from food
- Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine): supports protein and carbohydrate metabolism and haemoglobin production
- Active vitamin B12: measures the portion of B12 available for your cells to use
- Total vitamin B12: measures the overall amount of B12 circulating in your blood
- Folate (vitamin B9): supports normal cell division and red blood cell production
Who may benefit?
This profile may suit anyone experiencing persistent tiredness, nerve symptoms, mood changes or concerns about their B-vitamin status, particularly those with restricted or vegan diets, malabsorption conditions or long-term supplement use.

Results and follow-up
A clinician will review your results, explain the findings and advise on next steps. These may include dietary advice, appropriate supplementation, further testing or investigation of the cause of a deficiency. A telephone consultation with Dr Iqbal, our GP and Medical Director, is included where clinically required, at no additional charge. If further assessment is needed, we may recommend follow-up with your own GP. With your consent, we can share your results and a clinical summary.
£279 includes blood collection, laboratory testing, clinician review and an explanation of your results, with a GP telephone consultation where clinically required. A £25 booking deposit is deducted from the total, leaving £254 payable at your appointment. A separate initial consultation to discuss symptoms or choose tests is not included. Any additional investigations, consultations or treatment will be discussed and priced before proceeding.
Please read our cancellation policy before booking.
Important information
This panel measures selected B vitamins, not the entire B-vitamin group. Results must be assessed alongside your symptoms, medical history and supplement use. A full blood count is not included, so additional testing may be needed to investigate anaemia or clarify borderline results.
